This is the title for greeting tourists which came up after the name of Sikar itself. Sikar is considered the most visited and elegant city of Rajasthan, as it has several magnificent havelis and palaces built on architectural style of Mughal era and somewhat over Rajputana architecture is also seen here. The melancholic art and craft of Sikar is world-famous which attracts tourism really well.
Khatu Shyam ji is believed according to the Hindu scriptures, as lived around the Mahabharata period by the name of Barbrik who was a son of Pandava brother Bhim. He took an incarnation of Khatu Shyam ji later, and nowadays not only people from Rajasthan but from every corner of the country admires his bliss and devote their lives for bhakti of khatushyamji. It's an amazing architectural wonder which many visitors gaze at in the perspectives of religious and spiritual beliefs as well.
Several mythological scenes as wall paintings and carvings are displayed with ornamental and ellaboratively designed grandeur therein.
This temple is dedicatedly constructed by an ascetic of lord Shiva in the rule of Chahaman(Chauhan) King vigraharaja around 973 CE in the middle of the mountain range. Lying in ruins these days, this temple has an ancient importance for the Hindu religion and the devotees of lord Shiva's Harshnath incarnation. Various shrines surrounded the temple with an elegant and very ancient design.
Rani sati temple of Sikar is considered the largest temple dedicated to Rani Sati, who performed self immolation herself, dating back to 13-17th centuries. Also known by the name of Narayani Devi, she has shown valour in her lifetime, so the people of Rajasthan mainly devotes their worship to her.
The most astonishing fact is that there is not any idol kept inside the temple centre but only a trishul is worshipped in the name of glorious and powerful depiction of the lady.
