Munsiyari, which serves as the base camp for Nanda Devi, is situated in an ideal area for those who want to experience high-altitude hiking to several glaciers. Skiing and other winter activities are also developed in Khaliya Top and Betuli Dhar.
Nanda Devi temple:- it is a divine site dedicated to Goddess Parvati. You can witness this amazing wonder by starting your trek from Munsiyari Town, which is about 7,500 ft. above sea level.
Maheshwari Kund- is also called the Maheshwari Kund or / Messar Kund or Meshar Kund by localities of the region. It is situated close to Munsiyari. There are famous stories in the Hindu legend associated with the lake that you can uncover while visiting.
Panchachuli peak:- it consists of snow-covered Himalayan peaks standing at the end of the East Kumaon region. This lies near Munsiyari in the Pithoragarh district of the state Uttrakhand.
Thamari Kund- is a pond existing in the forests of Munsiyari, covered with paper trees. While exploring this scenic pond, be ready to go through a trek of approximately 3kms.
