Situated on the bank of river Ganga, Rishikesh is also called the Adventure Capital of India. The city is not the location but all the beautiful temples. Some of them are:
- Kunjapuri Devi temple- is a temple you wouldn't want to miss because of the panoramic view of Swarga Rohini, Gangotri, Banderpunch, and Chaukhamba. This Hindu temple is at a height of 1676 meters on a hill. Myths believe the burnt chest of Sati fell at the location.
- Neelkanth Mahadev:- it is a temple dedicated to lord Shiva, ola32km from the city limits, and is located at a height of 1,330 m above sea level in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand.
- Trayambakeshwar temple:- a pyramid-shaped shrine, is located near the Lakshaman Jhoola. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva but receives devotees to visit other deities in the temple.
- Parmarth Niketan:- it is a must-go-to-place when we are in Rishikesh. Famous for its grand conduction of aarti, it is one of the famous yoga centers in India too. The place welcomes all of its visitors, irrespective of gender, caste, religion, or, nationality.
- Gita Bhavan:- this is an amazing architectural piece located at the, holding over 1000 rooms accommodation at no charge. One of the best things to witness here is the Satsang managed by the authority, which works like therapy to your soul.
