The Banashankari Amma Temple is a famous temple located in Cholachagudda near Badami in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka. This is a temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati, consort of Lord Shiva. Kudala sangama
Kudara Sangama is an important pilgrimage centre for Lingayat. It is located about 15 kilometres from the Almatti Dam in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka. The Krishna and Malaprabha rivers meet here and flow east towards Srisailam (another of his pilgrimage destinations) in Andhra Pradesh. Aikyah Mantapa or Holy Samadhi of Basavanna is here with the lingam believed to be the originator of Lingayatism and a native (swayambhu). The Kudala Sangama Development Committee[2] is responsible for maintenance and further development.
