Chardham is the most holistic place for Hindu pilgrims and thousands of devotees came around the world to visit all these temples. These temples are situated in Garhwal hills which is the range of the great Himalayas. These Chardham covers Yamunotri dedicated to goddess Yamuna and it is build to honour goddess Yamuna and it is made by black marbles and it is located in the bank of river Yamuna, Gangotri dedicated to Goddess Ganga and it is built by with white marbles and this temple is located in the bank of Bhagirathi river, Kedarnath dedicated to lord Shiva and this temple is build of Giant stones and It is also one of the jyotrilinga and located near the bank of Mandakini river, and Badrinath dedicated to lord Vishnu and this temple is made of Shaligram Stone and design in Garhwali Architecture. These are the four abodes means four temples. People get mokhsha after visiting chardham. it is also believe that every hindu must visit all these chardham once in a lifetime. These yatra is about 3,000 years old. This is also known as chota chardham of Uttrakhand. All of these four temples are in the different directions. One can visit all the chardhams or dodhams. Chardham opens in the month of may up to October. This temples are closed for the duration of the Six months.
